"Keck" is shorthand for the "The Waisman Laboratory for Brain Imaging and Behavior" (http://brainimaging.waisman.wisc.edu/); this was the original name for the lab, and is still used by old hands. Labbies that spend most or all of their time at Keck are sometimes called "Keckies" (since people who spend most of their time at Brogden are called "Broggies").
