BRECK

"BRECK" is shorthand for the combination of the Brogden lab and the Keck lab. It is a merging of BRogden and kECK. The two labs are often referred to together as they grew out of a single lab and are quite closely tied to each other. They are also referred to as the "Davidson labs", as Dr. Richard J. Davidson (http://psyphz.psych.wisc.edu/web/personnel/director.html) is the director of both.

"BRECK" was originally the name of an old mailing list that went out to both labs. Details on how to send e-mail to both labs nowadays can be found here.
